Abierto al Cielo

Abierto al Cielo

An abandoned facade features a human-dolphin and a human coming out of its sealed window and door as a process of liberating energies from this old building. These figures represent the natural world guiding the human; the dolphin is in touch with his own energy centre and holds the umbilical cord belonging to the man who has no eyes but an open face. The text “abierto al cielo” is written on the top of the wall, it means “open to the sky”. A year after I painted the mural the demolition of the roof took place, so the house was indeed opened to the sky.
